I was at the Castello.❤️ It was a warm welcome. It was beautiful. I more or less floated through the place. 🥰
It was great, great to arrive again. I saw my brother and his family, actually, rather by chance. 🤣
They walked past the Castello, then went somewhere to eat and since Nikos had already closed his shop, had his last day yesterday, I helped him a bit to bring the stuff that was somehow frozen for the shop back to the Castello.
We chatted a bit, then went to the bar. The guys were happy to see me again too. We had a very, very fun time and then Katija came and it was clear, we're going to another bar, since a DJ was playing there who had apparently played a fantastic event a few days before. Elias then actually brought my brother and his family to the bar and we chatted a bit about what we're doing, whether today, whether tomorrow, whether the day after tomorrow and if so, what. 🤓
Then they headed home too, I think it was already like ten o'clock or so. And Katija and Nikos and I were then in the bar and I danced. We had a bit of alcohol. There were a few emotional moments and after my hat was already tried on in the bar, it then actually passed into Nikos's ownership. Simply because it's a nice gesture from me towards him. It was of course a beautiful momentum, without question. Katja captured it, sent me the pictures, which will then immediately make their way to you as well.
And after this wonderful day of celebrating life, I went back to Frankie and I'm standing practically vis-à-vis the big stadium here in Rethymno. There were some kind of football championships there for the last five days. That means the huge floodlights were still on and well, the picture speaks for itself, I think.
I then rolled into bed and slept totally relaxed, to not only update the Telegram channel today, but also to tidy up the website a bit, because the "mastermind" of "website disasters" tidied up a few things, well, smoothed them out in the background. There are still one or two things that aren't working yet, I just noticed. I've already sent them over to him.
And I received wonderful voice messages from very, very dear people in my life.
And I'm talking on the phone with one person this afternoon. I'm looking forward to that already.
