Spoken Note

Okay, dear people, there's a small recap regarding today. Zack, who's whirling around me here because he's preparing a huge feast for Bosnia's game tomorrow, which will take place up at his niece's weekend house because there's simply more space there, basically actually spent his entire day with me today. We left at ten, were in and around Visoko, so I checked out the local history museum, we were out at the pyramid museum, we were somewhere up in the mountains, eating at some buddies of his who have a restaurant there and it was incredible. So from normal, classic, that flour-semolina soup to chicken, to cevapcici and a really thick, fatty lamb soup that was literally 50% fat content, I mean really the fat still inside the soup as a side dish, salad and of course, obviously, I was out with Zack, so that's then with slivovitz and Zacky is completely uninhibited and knocks back, I think, 4 shot glasses just like that at 12 o'clock and I kept up, I didn't drink beer with it, I drank water with it and we were completely on the go until now, so we just came in and Zacky, as I said, is starting to chop like a madman, I keep offering and asking if I can help, no chance, he says, sit down, drink beer, watch, alright, so I'm sitting here, drinking beer and watching and as you can see from the pictures, there's more of course. The first picture is with Zacky in the office of the Islamic Center, they've built an incredibly great school, for all religions so to speak, however 25% of the students there are also taught in Islam and they have two mosques there and also their own imam and with the imam we also kind of wandered around the area a bit, I was allowed to or should, I had to, not could and was allowed to, but actually had to, I was asked, so I'm standing in the large auditorium, which in rows toward the back, I unfortunately didn't photograph this, overcomes 20 meters in height, so really classic auditorium, classic assembly hall and was supposed to stand at the lectern and say a little something, also to perceive the acoustics and meanwhile I was photographed. I of course said something and that was love, respect, esteem and freedom of religion. I think at freedom of religion I was then interrupted. On the right, that's the deputy director, so the next picture on my right is of course Zack, from my perspective, so when you look at it, on the left is Zack and on the right is the deputy director and that's the view on that day, the following one from the school. So it had rained all day, with a bit of drizzle in between, that was the toned-down version, otherwise it really pissed down here. Right now it's just drizzle again, it's gotten cold, really cold, so something around 15, 16 degrees. That's funny, isn't it? That I'm talking about really cold. Oh yeah and right, we were of course also on the Christian side, so in the Francisceum, there's a monastery here that actually still functions, also with an attached gymnasium and boarding school for boys and girls and I of course always find it nice when I see such old runes on such old doors. In this case I actually photographed them too. That's my view from Fränki, so you see in the next picture that the water there simply, it's running everywhere and we had to build a footbridge because the earth is so sodden that I sink in with my shoes and indeed really beyond the sole and it's similar to Croatia, very clay-like soil. No chance, no chance of somehow getting this stuff off in any other way. And now I think everything here will be quite relaxed, not just how the mountains are sinking into the fog, but I actually turned on the heating in Fränki and will hang out here a bit more with Saki, or not, but that's certain. And tomorrow, tomorrow it begins. I'm looking forward to it, so I'm looking forward to Sarajevo because I haven't been there in a long time. I'll actually just visit the market and then drive on, because all of Bosnia due to this game and especially Sarajevo tomorrow will be a battleground. So regardless of whether they win or lose, nothing works. So I spoke with Hasim, I spoke with Evelyn, also with Zak and they all say, dude, you have to tomorrow, if you drive to Sarajevo tomorrow, tomorrow evening, you can't somehow think that you'll find even remotely anything where you can be out, so where you can stay. Nobody's there, nobody opens. And the spot I had picked out was actually also such that it has no phone number, unless you go on one of these travelling sites to get the phone numbers of the respective places there for a 25 euro yearly subscription monthly and you know, I don't do that kind of thing. So I'm just driving into Sarajevo, parking somewhere, going to the market, maybe I'll get one thing or another for the road and then it goes down to Kostic and there I hope to find something near Titus Bunker, then I would actually do my tour down there on Saturday and Saturday afternoon then drive on directly. Let's see. I have an idea. Dude, what kind of huge piece of meat is that you're pulling out? That's easily ten kilos, right? Crazy. There he looks at me and grins. So actually I think I'd quite like to stay here tomorrow. That looks so delicious. My mouth is watering right now. By the way, that's from the place where we ate and drank at lunchtime today. The cook also looked like he can really cook well. So apart from the fact that the food was delicious of course. Yeah, I could actually tell a lot more because we of course also met a lot of people again on the way, in between and in the middle of it all. But I think I'll hang out here now with Zaki, what he's making all these nice things here. Well, he's thinking. Yeah, so have a wonderful evening, a great time. So drink and enjoy everything, every moment. Have fun. Big hugs going out to you and I'm already looking forward to the next phone calls with one or another teacher of you. That'll be cool, because the last phone calls with the one from the group were pretty cool. Thanks for that. It's fun. Rock on!
