my primary location today...

WOW, what a party that was yesterday!!! Totally crazy!
And yes, I've been warned about Raki more than once in my life! 🤣 That's the Bulgarian version of Slivovitz in Bosnia!
All home-distilled! Tooootaaally crazy! It was a feast!!!
So yesterday I had mussels straight from the sea! They collected them in the afternoon, then they made an incredibly delicious vegetable broth and cooked them in it. There were Ćevapčići, there were ribs, there were pork steaks, there was lamb, there were horse meatballs, salad of course, there was great cheese.... all of it with toasted garlic bread, naturally! Did I forget anything? I probably did! 🤣
There was sooooo much to eat and lots and lots of pictures were taken. And some of them, well I didn't take any pictures, I wasn't capable of that with my new brother, yes so I have a new brother, and I'm now a member of three Bulgarian families, the one who I always thought was called Dennis, he's called Jordan spelled with a "Y", well at least at the beginning he was called Dennis and Petar, those are the 2 family heads who you can see in a few pictures. And not all the kids are in the pictures. Because some of them also took the photos and these are just the first ones I'm sharing with you now, to make the toasting and standing together in a circle comprehensible for you.
And now I also know why I drank so much alcohol!!! I kept getting "flash-thinged" in between! 😎 (see pictures)
I'm just not selecting the photos now, I'm sending them all to you just as I got them, in order!
And Ennis and Yordan were just here!
Yordan got a call for help from his mom, she has a car repair shop, there's some kind of "hussle" going on and he has to go and work.
So that means he's taking off with his family today. The other two are staying, which in turn means that maybe I won't be able to avoid alcohol once or twice more!😜
For the sake of hospitality, I have no excuse....
Otherwise I naturally slept until nine today somehow and then fortunately the sun beat down on Frankie so hard that because of the heat, we really have a heat wave here, I simply had to get up.
After some funny attempts, well Frankie is not as small as I thought, so I covered quite a few distances, I made it down to the sea. And as I said it's mirror-smooth, there's no wave, there's no swell. I don't know that at all... and I first swam somehow to cool off, to get my body's circulation back in shape.
That was very funny and I'm doing well! So I don't have a headache... wait... well okay I can't look up beyond my forehead with my eyes! 🤓 That doesn't work... exactly... and fast movements shouldn't happen, except in the water. And it's hot! Did I already say it's hot here? So it's pretty damn hot here and as a result, in combination with the effects of last night... oh yeah but what I forgot... I'll finish the other sentence first... I'm actually staying here near Frankie in the hammock and every time it gets too hot for me here, I'll go down to the sea and swim out a bit and make sure I linger a bit in the cold current area. I think that's super cool!!!
I don't know if it's gotten colder where you are now!? I don't really have contact somehow I think so!

Oh yeah... Lu... they're all firefighters. Last night I got to watch videos of how they went to a fire call in the countryside in an old SIL, among other things (wanted to know if you still know that, that Russian monster?) Crazy, totally crazy!
I got to watch training videos, got to watch exercise videos. I was basically there live in retrospect for three operations, so to speak. They told so much! It was fun! It was funny! The kids also thawed out a bit. That was very funny too!
Actually we were all supposed to meet up for swimming today, I think we'll postpone that to tomorrow!? Yes, I think so!
And I had fun, real fun! This is such a beautiful place! These are such wonderful people!
And I'm grateful! Grateful to experience this form of warm Bulgarian hospitality again, which I've already been able to get to know!
It's just cool, super cool here, did I just say cool, NOOO, it's totally hot and beautiful and special and great!!!

That reminds me...a story I haven't even told yet.
So apart from the fact that the food was of course fantastic. Afterwards there was also a super delicious, incredibly sweet cake.
There were of course also fresh peperoni. And after I successfully managed to resist biting into one of those things for almost half an hour or an hour, (oh there was the oriole) (there it was again), Yordan got me to do it. And that was another classic test of courage that I couldn't refuse. And that still caused memorable moments today, as you can surely imagine. Unlike the young woman who's sitting at the head of the table, also standing up in between in the pictures, whose name I've naturally forgotten again. No idea about the women either, or the guys. Yordan also managed to persuade her. She bit in and she cried. For me it was just the beads of sweat on my bald head. The rest I just washed away with raki. I think that was the reason there was so much raki. That stuff helps in such a case, definitely.

What I of course forgot to mention...
I naturally asked Yordan if that was the silent fox sign he was showing. Nope, that's his version of rock'n'roll and when I looked at him, probably somehow questioningly, he explained to me, hey dude, Metallica. And then it came, Manowar, can any of you still remember Manowar? I find that so funny, really cool. I naturally got right back into that and it's going on the playlist, definitely, the one I'm on the road, so, Dosvidania, bye-bye, Ciao, etc., pp. So, because my hammock is now hanging in the sun, more or less, and I'm lying here with my eyes closed, I'll head towards the beach and go for another swim. Wishes from just now, earlier, plus one more, Ciao.

When you trust everything! 😍 ....and know that the abundance that surrounds you is always available. The photo I just sent you is a pastry that was just handed to me by the young man, the son of my neighbors here, next door who are camping here. He's a bit of a, well, a "shy guy" so to speak, really very withdrawn, introverted and is happy every time he sees me, smiles at me and is happy. And he just brought me that, with best wishes from his grandma too, and we chatted briefly. He paints, I've been watching him and we have a date tomorrow, very relaxed, to chat together, to be allowed to look at his pictures. So I'm invited to experience his art. We're going to do a bit of sport, he's keen to learn a few exercises and is inspired by the tattoos I have, especially the ones on my back. I think that's totally awesome and I was allowed to, well what do I mean I was allowed to, I offered today for the Bulgarians, two families of the firefighters are still here, to make a contribution for dinner today. So I dived for mussels and I think we now have 10 kilos of fresh mussels and they're going to make that incredibly delicious broth from yesterday, cooking them with beer and stuff too, and I'm going to get this recipe because I think they're leaving tomorrow and will then be able to prepare fresh mussels for myself regularly in the evenings here. I have such a big grin on my face and I'm so happy and I'm letting that out, in this case still limited, to you guys, soon it'll be on the website then. I'm looking forward to it and I think the picture that the Other made is really awesome. What do you think of the new group picture actually? I saw Andrea has already given it a big fat heart.
