My First Day at the Olive Harvest 🥰❤️😅

OK, so I'm writing this text for the 3rd time, since telegram didn't save it 🤷

My first day at the olive plantation with Giannis.🥰 14kg of equipment, 8h, sun until 3:30pm and the challenge of applying the mechanics in harmony with the grown structures of the trees. 😅

After 2 hours I found my flow and developed the right eye for the trees and was also able to swap the rubber boots for my Hanwag ❤️

It was INTENSE, for sure, and tomorrow I'm going to have proper muscle soreness for the first time in a long while 😂

Back at Frankie's pitch I fired up the pump, yes there's spring water from 180 meters deep, and treated myself to an ice-cold shower 🥶

Anyway, I'm earning a bit of money and I'm already booked for one, possibly even 2 weeks. I think that's good, since I have to, want to, will invest the money in Frankie, as the V-belt is due. If everything works out, I'll even get it sent by Martin! THANKS at this point for your support my friend 🙏

Now that I've been able to settle in here over the last 4 days, in nature at the olive plantation, it's time to harvest the olives. I've already been able to incorporate Giannis's olive oil from last year into my daily menu. Yesterday the olives that his mother produced were added. Both are amazing ❤️🥰🙏

So let me tell you about my powers of persuasion with Giannis!

Since in recent years he's actually sold almost exclusively to large retailers, he's currently considering marketing his olive oil himself. Because prices here are in "freefall". I think that's brilliant, because through his purely organic production, he's achieved phenomenal polyphenol levels in recent years. As soon as the first analyses are available, I'll post them here!

Why? Because I convinced him to dare a first "field trial" and market his olive oil himself. For all of you who are interested in purely organic olive oil from the producer, get in touch! The price is 8 EUR/liter, with packaging, bottling and shipping preparation still to be added (various stuff that's necessary to be allowed to deliver to the D-A-CH region 🤷)! I calculated it based on a 3-liter canister and ended up at EUR 21/liter. So it's up to you whether this works out or whether his oil ends up in your hands via Rapunzel & Co. for EUR 40+ then.

Another aspect is of course that you know that I worked on the production...although...🤔...that could also be an exclusion criterion 🤣
