Impressionen von der Reise heute....

Spoken Note
What can I say? Mandra Beach in Avdira Chanti. I hope I'm pronouncing that correctly. It's definitely in Greece. I tried to pick out something for myself directly in the Nestos Delta. But that was all nothing but blazing sun. And after over four weeks in the scorching sun, I thought Fränki and I deserve a nice little shady spot. And we've treated ourselves to that, because as if by chance after today's third wrong turn, I landed here. At this Camping Natura. And it costs just over 20 euros, I just paid. So I thought, oh come on, you can treat Fränki and yourself. What's totally crazy for me, of course, is there are people here. Really a lot of them even. Damn, the whole beach is full. However, I've already met two funny Italian couples who arrived after me. And I kind of played translator a bit. And when I had my spot, they had their spot, a Hungarian family arrived with two kids and a converted T3, which has a badass engine, a 1.9. Super, super nicely integrated, cleanly done, cool with a trailer and everything that goes with it. Pretty relaxed family. They're my neighbors now. And I thought to myself, I'll just knock out another one for you guys, so I don't keep getting into the situation of waiting days or even weeks with the information intended for you. It was an awesome day, for sure. I was in the mountains and of course to get to Greece, I drove through mountains again. And they were equally challenging. And I briefly touched the red zone of the engine temperature gauge twice, even though this morning I naturally refilled nearly 400 milliliters of water. That evaporates logically when Frenkie stands in the sun. I also filled up again in Bulgaria, because I naturally checked beforehand that diesel here costs around 1.98. No idea what it is in Germany right now. And at the second-to-last Bulgarian gas station, I was also hassled by some gas station attendant who first smiled at me and then realized I was doing my own shit. Then, when Frenkie wouldn't start, he got pretty on my case somehow, that I should kindly hurry up and get off the spot where I'm standing, away from the pump. Because behind me there were actually two cars already waiting. Whatever. The journey itself was tough because there was no shade. It was nothing but sun, and hardcore sun at that today. And that's why Frenkie and shade and just a bit of peace and quiet, happy, is a pretty good story. On the other hand, I noticed again yesterday that I actually have ants in Frenkie again. Or whether that was some other funny side colony of the ones I was able to get rid of. No idea. Today at any rate, if they're in some intermediate area of the body's outer wall, they've definitely been grilled. It was intense. For sure. I made it. As I said, Nestos Delta in the form of, I'll stay here a bit and kick around a bit, is canceled. That's just like before, I think four or five years ago, when I was traveling with Janine, between Valencia and Barcelona. The Ebro Delta, it's all, well, industrialized agriculture and tourism here. And it's just not my thing. I mean, now I have, you can hear it in the background, people walking around. I see people, which is sometimes very funny, because there are some pretty beautiful figures among them. And nice people smile at me too. Sure, but it's just too much. Cars are driving around, people are walking through the area, they smell, they're spraying themselves with whatever. No idea. I'll have to see. If I survive this, I'll naturally report on it too. Funny was of course when I came down from the mountains and went shopping at the supermarket again, because Kilian pointed out to me that food prices here in Greece are 25 percent more expensive than in Bulgaria. Dude, that's totally crazy. So of course I went shopping at the supermarket again. Yesterday evening I finished my vodka because I thought, when you're standing alone at this lake for the last time, you'll throw a little party. I did that too. And because there's Kintamaran at that supermarket, on the other hand it's totally funny. I'm just watching the gardener who's now trimming some funny trees so they get some shape. And two girls are walking past right now and one of them has a string thong and some funny, see-through dress on and he had to immediately stop with the hedge trimmer. I think otherwise he would have sawed off all the branches here and had to watch her walk by. That was a funny picture. Really cool. Thank you very much, dear gardener. Dear ass, that you walked by there. That was excellent. A lot of ass. Exactly, I'm not really here yet. So my soul is still somehow in the mountains. Of course I've already been in the water. It's an infinitely long beach. Big bay. And 300 meters later, after scraping my fingers, bumping into the sea, on some funny reefs I could still stand. Dude, now it's not enough. Oh, he's starting to grill. Check. But he's grilling in such a way that it's wafting into my back here. Well, Annyhausen, he's making the grill area, I'm sitting here near the grill area, he's fogging up the grill area right now. Well, it's okay. Like with a fog machine. But it doesn't really smell good either. No idea what he did there. I think the meat is lying directly on the coals. I've lost the thread. That was a completely different song. I hope you're doing well. I'm definitely doing well. I got another job application request. I sent off the application today. What day is today anyway? Is today Wednesday actually? I keep getting confused with this shit. Today is Wednesday, exactly. Today is Wednesday. On Monday I sent out another application as a freelancer. Let's see if that works out. Time-limited. That would actually be something. And if not, screw it. Then one or another of you can press the 5-euro button and buy me a coffee. Ride along with me. You're all doing that anyway. There was a nice exchange with Alex among others. It was actually about a topic that's been occupying me for quite some time, namely reliability of statements and the associated form of connection that one has or doesn't have. The gardener is really amazing, dude. I don't know what he's snipping there. It doesn't look good anyway. I think he just has to be busy. Well. I'm now going to drink a nice relaxed beer. Enjoy the evening. Just for myself. Maybe I'll go over to the beach bar. The music sounds pretty good. Take a beer with me and say, I just happened to find this along the way. I'll finish drinking this at the beach and then that's nice too. And if not, screw it. Exactly. Idea. Tomorrow it continues. So to the places that are somehow shady and without people. Although I have the feeling that's going to be difficult now here on the coast of Greece. I'm also going inland a bit. I also want to go to the mountains again, funnily enough. One or another funny little spot, place, whatever, is still on my agenda that I'd really like to check out. I'll let this sink in. I'll arrive here. Enjoy the evening. Let's make something delicious to eat. And maybe the planned appointment will happen today or not. But that's certain. And I wish you a magnificent continuation of this evening. I wish you peaceful and joyful moments and hope I've conjured another smile on your face. By the way, now the funny mesh dress and string thong just came by me and put her butt directly in my view yeah just a meter away. This is funny. We're now sitting right next to her. We don't understand German. So you can tell a few other things now. Anyhowsen, have a good time. Feel warmly hugged, cuddled and squeezed. Now some funny bikers are coming here, but I've already seen them. I actually think if they're from Hungary, then I know them like that yeah. Okay, see you then. Bye.
