Spoken Note
What can I say? I'm at Keramoti Beach, my second stop in Greece. I'm looking out at the island of Thassos and had a relaxed journey here because for once I booked the passage via motorway for 45 pfennig. And that was totally relaxed. I stopped at the petrol station along the way and checked my tire pressure again on all four tires, I forgot the fifth one. Because I had forgotten to do that in Bulgaria, at the petrol station, because as I said it was also a bit stressful with the petrol station bathroom. It was a bit crazy arriving here because everything was full of cars. Now I'm standing here practically with one other camper and two more cars alone at the beach. Pretty cool and I enjoyed the afternoon too. I've already been swimming twice, the beach is emptying out and I think I'll head into town for a bit this evening. I don't have any cash left either, which means I also have to find an ATM, which didn't work out so well in Bulgaria, because at the two I went to, the ATM said each time, nada, niente, nichevo. Just no. We're not taking your card. Pretty damn weird, can happen. I still had enough cash that I could get myself a beautiful watermelon from the watermelon farmer's tractor. I'm going to snack on it now. It's so delicious, it's unimaginable. Problem is, the smallest melon was five kilos. I don't quite know yet how I'm supposed to eat it all. Basically means, I'm hoping that the ants leave me alone, or rather the melon, and that I can get this eaten up, because of course I also couldn't resist stopping earlier when I set off and getting 10.5 kilos of fresh figs in the tub, which naturally also want to be eaten. I'll just combine the two things with vodka, then it'll work out. Otherwise it was funny of course, at the stand in the middle of the road, well it was after the motorway, was already towards Keramudi. I just saw the trailer with the tractor in front of it and stopped. There was no parking spot or anything, anything like that. Still, three Greeks stopped right behind me. Either they knew the farmer because they'd driven past there several times before, or whatever. No idea. Anyway, they grabbed around on the trailer like crazy and pulled down a gigantic melon, no idea, 10 kilos or something, and kept talking to me, and then the farmer cut open a melon. That happened with me too. He puts the knife on it, clicks it in and the melon practically springs open. Intense. And while they were talking at me, I kept saying, hey people, I don't understand you. It's totally sweet that you want to chat with me and I think that's really nice too, but I can't. And then the saleswoman says, I was born in Berlin. And I thought, I'm in the wrong movie. That was very funny, because I think that was really, they weren't the only German or Berlin-ish, no, German, German farmers, she could speak a bit of German. That was really very, very pleasant, was a very, very lovely person and her grandfather, with whom she does this, he of course offered me another piece and another piece and so of course I knew what I was getting myself into. Unbelievably delicious. Exactly. I'll just send you some impressions from along the way now and of course share my arranged fruit buffet with you. The rest follows if there are more funny, amusing things that are worth reporting or not. Yes, that's for sure. Have a good time, a wonderful evening. Today is Thursday. I don't know, because André cancelled his appointment yesterday, well not cancelled, but I asked later and he said no. Exactly, I'll definitely stay on top of that too, because there are a few hooks the flaws, sniggle the snuggle, things that don't quite work from here to there. We'll solve it, I think. I'm not saying we will or we won't. We'll solve it, so that Instagram can continue to be updated. I hope all of you are doing well, three of you I know because I had contact with them today. Thanks for that by the way. I think the quote, at least one of them, in one, wait, in the two conversations yesterday and today, I'll throw that in again. Because the discussion about it, the Rob about it, you notice, I've already had a bit of watermelon, no, vodka, vodka with watermelon. The discussion was incredibly interesting and sensitized me again to perhaps address this topic after all. Especially for those people among you who call themselves my friends. There are two or three who claim that and there are five who are. Which makes it totally interesting for me in relation to our shared communication. Too confused are my thoughts, they're not clear yet, but they're there. I look forward to sharing them with you and say thanks to those who heard it. And those who haven't heard it, hey people, look at the pictures. That's what I make them for. See you then. Bye.
Frankie stands next to Janosh's wonderful T3, who, originally from Hungary, wants to drive it all the way to India someday...when his kids are grown up 😂👍
Keeping my fingers crossed for him, since the little one is just 3...
Of course there are photos of the route 😁
And the extra picture for Janosh, who, just as I was about to take off, pressed this ice-cold beer into my hand as a thank you for the lukewarm beer from the night before that I offered him because he looked pretty exhausted when he "parked" in the spot next to Frankie and me 😂
There are also photos and at least 1 video with him, Frankie and me, if he actually sends it!? So JANOSH: in case I gave you the wrong number, here is the RIGHT one: +49.172.384.31.90 ...just mistyped it myself twice now, with glasses on...🤪
All I'm saying is, watermelon, figs and vodka...
Buffet 😂
current camping spot 😍
Oh yeaaaah, the text that reached one person or another these past few days and conveyed my definition of friendship this way: "Whoever misses you will call you! Whoever is interested in you will show it. Whoever cares about you will always find time for you! Whoever doesn't do all that isn't worth your time!"
