An update from the transition period — the job at Rockefeller was challenging, the team grew together, and the daily journeys through Berlin became a journey of their own: an elderly couple on the S-Bahn, a junkie at the Warschauer Brücke, an ex-Foreign Legionnaire with a story that gets under your skin. Everyday life as adventure, even before the actual departure. The departure was delayed by almost three weeks — ERP, technology, weather, life just happens. And yet: a wave of love, peace, openness that carries you and doesn't let go. In the midst of it all, feedback from the boss after four weeks — personal, unsolicited, human. A 10 out of 10, professionally and personally. Not set as a goal, not expected. Simply there. Transformation is happening — not just on the outside, but especially on the inside too. Apparently because it's time. Good night, ME — and tomorrow onward to Zerbst, to the city of birth.
