An update from the transition period — the job at Rockefeller was challenging, the team grew together, and the daily journeys through Berlin became their own voyage: an elderly couple on the S-Bahn, a junkie at the Warschauer Brücke, an ex-legionnaire with a story that gets under your skin. Everyday life as adventure, even before the actual departure. The departure was delayed by almost three weeks — ERP, technology, weather, life. And yet: a wave of love, peace, openness that carries and doesn't let go. In the middle of it all, feedback from the boss after four weeks — personal, unsolicited, human. A 10 out of 10, professionally and personally. Not set as a goal, not expected. Simply there. Transformation is underway — not just outwardly, but especially inwardly too. Apparently because it's time. Good night, ME — and tomorrow onward to Zerbst, to the city of birth.
