The First Evening in the Mountains...😍
Spoken Note
Second attempt to record the voice message. Somehow it didn't work just now, only one message came through. Hello dear people. After you could already see yesterday that I found the waterfalls and was also able to spend a lovely time there, the pictures from the journey are still outstanding. And due to the fact that it was a very hot day, I mean, I had swollen feet that I had to dangle in a spring pool along the way, that naturally led to me thinking quite a bit, quite a few memories also came up. Primarily of course from the realm of what I experienced in Tschernomoritz. Be it the spontaneous conversation with the former Bulgarian heavyweight champion in Olympic boxing. Be it the story of Lucy, the conversations with Alex, the discussion with Christo and I've forgotten the name of the hippie who basically spends his life at the campsite. These are all exciting stories that I will certainly work through again for you, for me and for the rest of the world. And to convey to you what such an environment should look like when you're traveling by car to pursue your thoughts, there will be quite a few more photos today, in any case. Beyond that, at the end of this series of pictures there are the cows on the road, which are of course also a connecting element to the place where I am now. They all belong to Osman, you see. And Osman in turn reminds me of a former close friend from Mecklenburg. Totally crazy. He actually refuses translation tools, mobile phones or any other technical devices. I actually tried several times yesterday. No chance. Nevertheless, all these cows that are cruising on the road, beside the road and through the terrain belong to him. And I was with him yesterday evening, which I actually didn't manage the day before yesterday, totally tired, in the village. That's another two and a half, three kilometers from here. And on the village square there is actually a building. It's a pub, shop, whatever. And the innkeeper is mayor and sheriff. That's totally funny. He actually has a car as an off-road vehicle. There's a five-pointed star with a circle, a white one, on the side. Totally wild. The whole group was really funny. His twelve-year-old son, because he speaks good English, then translated throughout the evening. Actually into the night. We changed locations. He even drank a beer there, well, half a one. They're funny people, in any case. The region here itself is more or less committed to the Islamic faith. So I haven't seen any women here yet, except the two who somehow happened to pass by. Not yesterday, but the day before yesterday. Most of them have Turkish names, all speak Turkish as well and were of course happy, because when I noticed that, I naturally opened my website too. Here my German texts, translated into Turkish as well. Great idea. The evening was so funny, you'll see in the pictures too, that naturally there's a change of plans today. So I'll be breaking camp here this afternoon and will actually move to another spot. And this spot is a year old and was built by the male village population as a party area, also with its own spring and everything that goes with it. Thanks be given to the mayor-sheriff. By the way, they're all related to each other. There were brothers, cousins, brothers-in-law and uncles there. I've already told about the people smugglers. I don't even know if I've already mentioned it in this message. Yes, there are people who earn their money by taking other people across borders. Crazy. Well, I'll definitely look at this here for a few more days, because it's simply an incredibly beautiful area. I still have a few pictures from yesterday on the way. I was traveling in total I think four and a half hours, five hours, five hours, hiking, climbing, scrambling, waiting. I'll leave the swimming out for now. On the way. Crazy, in any case. So there are a lot of pictures today and maybe the odd text to go with them. I'll have to see. Yes, then I'm curious now whether my taxi to town is coming soon or not. And if not, that's not bad. Then I'll just sit at the computer and work. Or, as Osman just announced earlier, who sat next to me for an hour and a half and already drank his first Araki, which I declined even though he invited me. Nevertheless he naturally left the bottle standing here. He's definitely up for doing another round somehow through the mountains here this afternoon. At least that's what I understood. What it will be then, I can report subsequently. Okay. Oh yes, I also took a few pictures of my morning training, so you can see, can comprehend, what an incredible view I get to enjoy during my training. I am so grateful. Grateful for everything. And especially for what surrounds me in feelings from nature. I wish you one more smile and a magnificent course of the still young week. Have peaceful and cheerful moments. Until then.

The evening of my arrival here on Saturday...😍

Pictures from the journey...in the total heat...with almost 7h travel time...and from Tschernomorez to Byal Kladenets...😅

I'll just quickly pop over to the waterfall in flip-flops 🤣👻😎🥳

Setting off yesterday, pictures from the forest hike...

Now come the pictures when I finally got out of the forest and found the waterfall 😊

...only just on the "wrong" side 😂
...so climbing, scrambling, crawling and balancing were called for, to finally reach my destination wading through 😁😍🥳

Spoken Note
The surprise, you have to imagine, it's total silence. There's nothing that somehow reminds you of being connected to civilization. It's pure nature, it's totally intense, no plane, no nothing, no nothing at all. And so as I was gathering up my clothes naked and had taken one or two more photos, I headed back towards the rocks with my hat on and naked, basically, to get dressed or to put my clothes on relaxed and to get on my way. Near the shores by the reservoir, so the canyon or fjord or whatever you want to call it. It's pretty muddy there, but everything flows in from the mountains and all the sand deposits there too. Exactly, so just as I'm gathering everything together, there's this huge fat loud music with thick, fat bass. You have to imagine, you're on a village road and you hear neither the car nor anything else ever, but you just get this thick, fat bass and this Turkish disco, funk, hip-hop, some kind of music and it's really echoing loud. And then two of these really fat, what do you call them again? Now I have to think myself, damn it. Well, those motorcycles on the water, jet ski, funny. So two huge, big, fat jet skis, which actually, like with the newer motorcycle models that all go in the direction of choppers, are equipped with big, fat speakers. So he doesn't have a speaker with him somehow, extra, but it was a system that was mounted on this jet ski. And those things looked really fat and when they eventually turned off the music, they also sounded like they had pretty, pretty big engines in them. Yeah and they came then and of course saw me, I of course also first stood still and watched the spectacle somehow, until I then realized that they were also looking kind of weird, because I was standing there naked on the shore with my backpack and clothes in my hand and a hat on. We're talking about Muslim-influenced regions. Okay, so I figured it out and retreated to put on my underpants and the rest too. And they looked around a bit on the shore, they didn't get really far because the bay itself is also a bit winding and then we're also at the part, how far did I swim? I of course swam to the reservoir, so where it really begins, to look at it and there are also really some beautiful huts on the slopes. Pretty cool. Exactly, and then from there I went past these, so to orient myself, past these three springs, photographed them again and then fought my way through the forest, because I lost the path twice of course, classic. Orientation worked though. And so I didn't deviate that far from my actual direct path. Exactly. And then, as I said, when I arrived up here, Osman was here and talked at me for over an hour. We laughed a lot and then the way led to the pub, which is simultaneously mayor's office, shop, meeting place, tavern, whatever, the cultural, social center of this village. Exactly. Oh yes, I was of course, when I jumped in, because I also want to include some photos of myself that don't automatically come from strangers, and that of course only works when I try to photograph myself. There are now of course two jumping pictures, although one of course shows my naked US-ass. Funny! In any case. And at the end, at the end come the photos from yesterday evening. And all wishes from the text plus one.
